Six-month Euribor falls to one-year lows.



The rates used to calculate home payments continue to fall. The six-month Euribor, the most used index in Portugal, fell to the lowest value in the last year.





The rates that serve as the basis for calculating home payments continue to fall. In the case of the six-month Euribor , the index most used in Portugal in variable rate home loan contracts, this Monday it dropped to the lowest value since July last year .

  • The six-month Euribor rate fell to 3.635% , minus 0.027 points and a new minimum since May 12, 2023, after having reached 4.143% on October 18, a maximum since November 2008.

  • In the same sense, the three-month Euribor fell to 3.662% , minus 0.002 points and a new minimum since July 20, 2023, after having risen to 4.002% on October 19, a maximum since November 2008.

  • Within 12 months, the Euribor rate also fell to 3.522% , 0.042 points less than in the previous session, against the maximum since November 2008, of 4.228%, recorded on September 29th.
